We recommend that anyone who received a free myStrom button at IFA migrate the account used to make sure it is associated with a personal email address.
Please follow these steps:
Go to Conrad Connect to “Devices & Services” page. “Revoke access and delete data” for myStrom.
On your mobile phone, log in to the myStrom app with with the button credentials provided.
In the myStrom app select: “Buttons” / “IFA2017 ConradConnect button” (or another one) / “Settings” / “Remove WiFi Button”
Once removed, perform a a factory reset on the button. To do this press and hold the button for more than 10 seconds. You will see LED blinking red and white very fast. During the blinking period release the button and press it again once. You will see the LED blinking white.
Now you can create a new myStrom account. (You can also delete your existing account)
Add the button to the new account following the instructions in the App.
Either delete your browser cookies or open an incognito/private window in your browser. Log in to Conrad Connect and authenticate the button again, in the devices and services tab, with your new myStrom login details. Connect your new account to Conrad Connect.
